I almost didn’t send this newsletter out

And I’ll be honest af....

For the past month ive been sending this email every Wednesday to all of you and last week, I was in Ubud and scheduled it for what I thought was Wednesday

And then was offline... at Bali Spirit Festival + celebrating my birthday (happy 27th to me 🤪)

Gotta love automation + scheduling content in advance

(I HIGHLY recommend this, btw, for your LinkedIn content)

But then I realized days later... it never actually went out

So I emailed you all on Sunday instead

and then yesterday, I sent an email with info about a ladies-only exclusive mastermind

and somehow it sent twice???? 🙈

Idk what happened but yes it did get sent twice

And then it came time to email again this Wednesday and I thought...

Ahhhhh

Do I email them again??????

Is that taking up “too much space”????

But the truth is....

We make “mistakes”

like scheduling content that never goes out 😅

and double emailing your community 🫣

but you know what?

HUMANNESS is so cute and special

We are allowed to TAKE UP SPACE

and I reminded myself:

So…. I am calling myself out

Humanness is our gift!!!!!!

“Mistakes” happen

and sometimes it’s exactly what we need
and what others need to see

If we were “perfect” it wouldn’t even be fun

and honestly...

I would MUCH rather follow a REAL af leader

than someone I can’t relate to
or see myself in

Leaders are not polished

Leaders are real!!!!!

Perfect content doesn’t convert to deep engaged community of YOUR people.

REAL content does

The posts that land are the ones where people feel you

So instead of trying to sound polished, try this:

🌀Share what didn’t go to plan
🌀Say the thing you almost didn’t post
🌀Let people into the moment... not just the outcome

Because authenticity builds trust faster than perfection ever will

People don’t follow leaders who they think never make mistakes…..

They follow leaders they feel connected to!!!!
